PSL Limited, the largest manufacturer of high-grade large diameter Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes in India, has bagged orders worth over Rs. 425 cr to manufacture pipes for assorted water supply projects. These orders are with top infrastructure companies such as M/s. Larsen & Toubro, M/s. Lanco, M/s. Nagarjuna Construction Company, M/s. Subhash Projects (SPML), and M/s. South East Constructions. The aggregate supply for all the orders is approximately 112,000 tons.

The state-of-the-art technology & regionally distributed capacity-readiness of PSL’s pipe mills have been its biggest strength, enhancing its order fulfilment process and ensuring faster delivery of quality products to clients time & again. PSL’s mills at Varsana (Gujarat), Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Vizag (Andhra Pradhesh), Jaipur (Rajasthan) & Chennai (Tamilnadu) will be pressed into service to meet the above requirement.

Mr. Ashok Punj, MD PSL Limited, stated “The pipes manufactured by PSL at its various regional locations provide the best logistical and economic solution for its customers in terms of both end- usages - Oil & Gas, as well as Water Transportation. For example, in executing a Water Pipeline project in Orissa, M/s. Lanco selected PSL’s Vizag mill as its source of supply. Then again, for a major Water Works requirement in Bangalore, M/s. Nagarjuna preferred the proximity of PSL’s Chennai mill as being the most economical for its needs.”

Mr. Punj added “Furthermore, M/s. Larsen & Toubro, a regular PSL customer for its Rajasthan and Gujarat mega-projects, placed firm orders on PSL’s mills at Mahudi near Ahmedabad, Phagi near Jaipur, and Varsana near Kandla, thereby optimizing their logistics and costs to ensure effective and timely completion of their critical infrastructure projects. No other pipe supplier offers the range of regional locations and installed capacity as PSL does for both Water and Oil & Gas applications.”
